When you starting something new, turtle steps helps!

Starting something new always make me feel unsure. Working on the website I felt fine, I felt as if I could do things bit by bit and my wonderful designer got my output on a irregular basis and made the magic happen. Now that my baby is surfing around cyberspace I feel a bit lost and totally overwhelmed at the same time.

I now have to find my way into the new world of ‘posting’ where no stamps are involved and meeting a monkey that will help me mail stuff to a lot of people. The cute monkey from Mailchimp is making it look easy and inviting, but it is making me stretch my analytical, logical, mental muscles.

I suppose that is what we all experience in trying something new. But making thing happen in small turtle steps make it seem so much easier. You can read more about the turtle step concept of Martha Beck in this wonderful post below.

Ode to Turtle Steps

So I’m asking you to be patience with me while my precious turtle is making magic. If you seeing this post I can celebrate that turtles are wonderful teachers.

My plans for this blog is to keep you updated about the magic that happens in the studio and living a creative life. I’ll also keep you informed of workshops and healing art sessions and would love to exchange thoughts and ideas with everyone by using the comments section. I’ll also post about my artworks and how starting new paintings is not as scary as this!!

So as I get more comfortable with starting my new project, I hope you are experiencing some wonderful new opportunities  that will see the light with the magic of turtle steps.
